Alex Kaufmann E-RYT200

Alex is a lover of all things yoga, wellness and life! Within the past four years of her yoga journey, she has practiced and studied Power, Baptiste, Hot, Restorative and Vinyasa Flow Yoga. She has completed a 200hr Registered Yoga Teacher training in Power Yoga and has amassed well over 1,000 teaching hours. Alex specializes in flexibility and core training, Yoga for Beginners and finding self-love and appreciation through intention-filled practice and meditation. Born and raised in the Bahamas, Alex can almost always be found practicing yoga on the beach - sun, sand and sea air play an important role in her life. Currently based in Providenciales, Turks & Caicos, Alex has had the opportunity to share her passion for yoga with many students, both first time and seasoned practitioners, all over the world.


Ahmed Jabali-Nash E-RYT200, Rocket II

Ahmed has a strong background in various kinds of yoga including but not limited to: Bikram, Ashtanga, Baptiste, Power Vinyasa and Rocket. Ahmed completed his 200 hour teacher training through Corepower Yoga in April of 2014 and his Rocket yoga teacher training in October of 2014 through Little River Yoga with David C. Kyle. He also teaches creative classes such as yoga with weights, inversion and arm balance workshops and boot camp style classes.

Ahmed has a very athletic background that includes Mixed Martial Arts, soccer, golf, running and cycling and practices yoga with prominent instructors such as Carson Calhoun, Irene Pappas, Mimi Rieger and David C. Kyle. He not only focuses on the physical aspect of yoga, but he also appreciates and practices the spiritual side of yoga.

Ahmed enjoys teaching multi-level classes because he likes to instill strong basics with students and encourage them to progress. He focuses on teaching strong foundational skills and challenges even the most experienced students to push themselves to the next level.

  • Do you struggle with your inversions? What is an inversion? When your head is below your heart. Step out of your comfort zone and let this series support you to get where you want to go. I will focus on drills for assisted headstand (Salamba Sirasana), forearm stand (Pincha Mayurasana) and handstand (Adho Mukha Svanasan). Learn how to fall so the FEAR of flying will let go. Remember that nothing great happens inside your comfort zone. (taught by Ahmed)

  • Let's get bendy! In this workshop we will work on increasing flexibility and enhancing strength and mobility to help in your practice and day to day life. I'll be sharing my favorite tips, tricks and drills to achieve growth in postures like backbends and splits. This workshop is open to all levels of movement. You do not have to be bendy to take this class. Flexibility is beneficial for everyone! (taught by Alex)
